Halfway

In just a few days, I will be celebrating my half way mark of pregnancy! It's been a wild ride to say the least but such an awesome experience. I was so sick for the first few months. It made it really hard to go to work and keep up on my daily responsibilities which is why Scott did all the cooking and cleaning for the first 3 1/2 months, bless his heart. I started feeling better around week 14.. thank goodness! I really shouldn't complain though.. I know some girls have it way worse than I did. I'm just glad I'm out of that stage. Things got pretty easy for the next couple weeks. I had enough energy to get things done, I could eat real food again (besides mashed potatoes and saltine crackers). Then a new set of issues surfaced. My siatic nerve hurts all the time, I'm so exhausted I could cry and not to mention the roller coaster of emotions I'm riding. I've never been a super emotional person but oh my goodness.. sometimes the tears just won't stop! Sometimes it's easy to focus on the hard stuff but none of it even compares to how awesome it is to feel that tiny little person moving around inside you. It is by far the most incredible thing ever! I started feeling her move around week 16 and by week 17 Scott could feel her tiny little kicks ever so slightly. She gets stronger everyday.
Here is a picture of my baby bump at 19 weeks:
