Engagement Night

It was March 10, 2010... I got a phone call from Scott asking me if I wanted to go to the lake and have a fire. I was excited and told him that I would ask my friends if they wanted to go too. He told me he was hoping that it could just be me and him. We had been looking at rings for a while so I knew the proposal was coming soon so I suspected that it could be that night but I didn't want to get my hopes up too high. So anyways, he picked me up and we went down to utah lake but we couldn't find a place to have a fire anywhere! It was really windy and cold down there so after about 30 minutes of driving around we finally decided to go up the canyon. We found a good spot where we started our fire and roasted startbursts. As we were sitting around the fire he said, "Kristi will you help more fire wood?" so I got up and he took my hand where he lead me into the trees where I saw a little box. I picked it up, opened the box and sure enough there was the most beautiful ring inside. I turned to look at him and he was down on one knee. He told me that he loved me and that I'm his favorite person in the world and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes and we went to tell our families and friends! I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect proposal.

Welcome to the life of Kristi and Scott! We got married on May 20, 2010. It's already been a month!! It's crazy how fast time flies. Scott and I met through some mutual friends. We became really good friends and started dating. 3 months after dating we were engaged! Some may think think that is crazy fast and I would agree with you but when you know, you know! Marrying Scott was the best decision I've ever made!!
